We develop advanced processing concerning Fiberglass and Carbon Fibre.

The Company GI.GA Composite Srl, with its headquarters in Atessa, was founded in 1999 at the behest of its current partners. The new GI.GA Composite Srl production site is located in the municipality of Atessa, in the province of Chieti, in the new area of PIP craftsmanship and commerce in Val di Sangro, the venue of renowned factories of global importance (e.g., Sevel, Honda, etc.).

The industrial settlements have been integrated harmoniously in this beautiful valley, which is also rich in agricultural and tourist activities, respecting its environment and landscape. The location choice in the following industrial area, Val di Sangro, results from several concomitant factors.

The first factor is the position of Atessa and the entire industrial area of Val di Sangro. Accordingly, this ensures a good connection with all of Italy, easily within easy reach using the A14 motorway exiting at Val di Sangro.

The establishment of Gi.Ga represents the second factor which occurred in an environment already equipped in an industrial area, and this denotes, without doubt, an additional advantage.

The GI.GA Company was founded to develop a cutting-edge type of constantly evolving manufacturing, such as the manufacturing of Fiberglass and Carbon Fibre. Materials through which it is possible to obtain particulars of the highest quality in terms of resistance and lightness.

The partners’ previous experience has fully allowed them to take advantage of the unique characteristics of these materials.

The Company makes use, during the processing of a workforce acquiring significant experience and professionalism, qualified in manufacturing the highest quality product, able to guarantee a product achieving the highest quality. And all of this has allowed the Company to rapidly consolidate its presence within this specific industry, the sign of a transparent ongoing process directed to quality research of the products manufactured and for its customers’ satisfaction.

The GI.GA Composite Srl now has to transform from a small artisan company to a more prominent company to deal with the industry’s remarkable growth and guarantee the customer the highest quality. Behind this transformation, there must be the following elements: a modern technical facility with the introduction in the manufacturing cycle, cutting-edge machinery and equipment, the personnel’s motivations and personal dynamism, the synergy between the company and the customer, and an in-depth know-how knowledge and an ability to renew.

The Gi.Ga Composite started implementing the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 in 2003, experiencing a reference model and instrument to address various issues with a different approach. The processes’ ongoing monitoring has allowed the Company to achieve margin for improvements gradually.

Human Resources

Taking into account that Gi.Ga Composite works in an uncommon field; educating and training the personnel who become part of the company’s workforce is inevitable and paramount. In this respect, the employees are qualified to consider the following significant points concerning the processing. The training courses are held in the classrooms and “on the job”.

The minimal requirements have been defined concerning the level of personal qualifications necessary for correctly executing and monitoring the company’s processes. As best reported, the provisions mentioned above are expressed in the same job description expected from the quality management system.
