The Cookies Policy Use

We use related cookies and technologies to make the functioning of our website more accessible and more intuitive, as well as to render the browsing more functional for the user in case of future visits. In the current document, you will find detailed information concerning the use of cookies, similar technologies and their management.

What cookies are

The cookies are small text files sent from the website to the interested users’ terminal (usually on the browser), where they are stored to be retransmitted to the website in case of the next site visit on behalf of the same.

A cookie cannot recall data of a different nature from the hard drive; it cannot for whatever reason transmit computer viruses or acquire email addresses.

Every cookie is unique for the user’s browser, and some functions of the cookies can be delegated to other technologies.

In the present document regarding the term “cookie”, we will refer both to the cookies, in the narrow sense, and to similar technologies.

Type of cookies

According to their characteristics and functionality, the cookies can be distinguished into two categories:

Technical Cookies

Cookies that fall in this category are used for the sole purpose of “performing the transmission of a communication on an electric communication network, or to the extent strictly necessary to the supplier of a service of the company’s information explicitly requested by the subscriber or by the user who dispenses such service” (see Art. 122, subparagraph 1, of the Code).

They are not used for other purposes and are typically installed directly from the holder or who manages the website. They can be divided in:

  • Navigation cookies or sessions, necessary to guarantee the normal browsing and use of the website, are functional to the proper functioning.
  • Analytics cookies, assimilated to technical cookies, are used directly by the site manager to collect data in an aggregated form, on the number of users and on how they interact with its content in order to improve the overall performance of the website; (see below the reference concerning the cookies of Google Analytics).
  • Functional cookies allow the user to browse according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language) with the intent to improve its fruition. Installing such cookies does not require any form of consensus by the user.

Profiling Cookies

The profiling cookies are employed to create “profiles” related to the user. They are used to send “advertising messages” following the preferences expressed/manifested from the same in the context of web browsing. (They identify the “interests” of the single users anonymously in order to improve the browsing experience)

The use of profiling cookies requires consensus by the interested party. According to current legislation, the user can decide whether to authorise or reject the agreement to install such cookies using the “Cookie Management” instructions.

In the case of third-party cookies (they fall within the category all those cookies are linked to social network use), the website does not have direct management of every single file (it can neither instal nor directly remove them). However, the user will be able to manage the cookies belonging to this category by modifying the browser settings (followed by detailed instructions) or the only resources reported in the “Cookie Management” section.

We invite our users to verify the expected schedule on the third section on the website (the list will be available later on)

The complete list of the technical cookies currently on our website follows.
